Responsibilities of Office Manager

The Office Manager is responsible for the general administration of successful office operations.

Specific Responsibilities of Office Manager

• Costing, billing, and collections of Services invoices.
• Maintains and provides cost, sales, and other benchmark snapshot reports to BUM and upper management.
• Maintains consistency in Office and Field Management processes throughout the Business Unit.
• Maintains and protects the company image and culture and coach others.
• Ensures employee morale and retention are kept at a high level.
• Follows up with customers prior to renewal of preventive maintenance agreements and completion of jobs to ensure total customer satisfaction (CARE = Customer Assurance Review Evaluation).
• Gathers, promotes, and distributes training opportunities to the office personnel.
• Monitors and approves spending (job costs/Paperless and G/L expenses under $500).
• Continues to develop software and technology tools (Vista).

This position is Full-Time, Non-Exempt, and reports to the Business Unit Manager.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Be well aware of office organization, business administration, accounting and accountancy knowledge, nature of business and business environment.
• Office managers should also be well trained in office systems and procedures, office machines and equipment and data processing methods.

Travel Requirements

• 0-5% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Climbing stairs.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Quiet environment.
