Overview

Pre-Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing the EaaS preconstruction process. Primary responsibility is to successfully transfer the project from Delivery to Execution. Pre-Con manager actively managers the preconstruction process which includes, but not limited to, constructability site surveys, preliminary construction planning, creating, and managing preliminary schedules, selection and management of strategic subcontractors, management of our At-Risk process, budget and pricing support, and all activities that help position the project execution team for success.

  • Mobilization & laydown plans
  • Permit research
  • Project execution plan
  • Project Last Planner kick off
  • Preliminary project schedule
  • Subcontractor coordination & scoping
  • Manage early release equipment and/or subcontractor RFPs
  • Pricing reviews
  • Manage At-Risk process which includes being responsible for the turnover to operations (Delivery)
  • Responsible for turn over process
  • Support of the operational Vice Presidents in the At Risk & Turn Over process
  • All duties as needed to support a successful preconstruction process

Qualifications

  • 30 hours of Continued Education.
  • 5+ years� experience in commercial construction.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Versed in the industry and the Company�s competitors.
  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another

  • 25-40% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.
