Overview

The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for effectively leading and developing internal and external logistics, supply chain planning, control processes, domestic and global sourcing of material and services, and transportation

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include:


• Build relationships within the organization by providing a communication conduit between the organization's Operating Companies, Integrated Solutions and suppliers of goods and services.
• Operate and promote the company's core values and lead by example.

• Develop and improve supply chain processes and practices in accordance with new or changing internal/external policies, standards, regulations, or laws in a way that best achieves the organization's objectives.

• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and logistics providers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Manage Supply Chain resources distributed across Segment divisions.
• Accountable for demand planning to accurately forecast and manage supply chain spend while minimizing negative customer impacts due to equipment/ material shortage or delays.
• Responsible for achieving delivery and quality standards on globally and locally sourced and supplied materials.
• Responsible for the achievement of key business metrics; performance to financial budget/forecast, capital tied to inventory, inventory balance sheet, On-Time-In-Full, traditional planning, purchasing, distribution and warehouse measures of effectiveness.
• Work collaboratively with senior and functional leaders to implement innovative solutions and improvements supporting all channels to achieve revenue and business growth.
• Evaluate and implement new supply chain capabilities and tools.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Develop and manage supply chain performance metrics to monitor and improve performance.
• Encourage positive Company culture and team ethics.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Finance, Law, Business, Engineering, or Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years' experience managing supply chain organizations.
• Heavy MEP knowledge is desired.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
• Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
• Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including data analytics within supply chain functions.
• Experience in business process design and implementation including problem-solving, negotiations, and team building with non-direct reports.
• Demonstrate aptitude for connecting disparate types of information including planning, procurement, distribution, manufacturing, regulations, product development, and statistical methods.
• Systems thinking/mindset, including the ability to create an understanding of a larger system by examining linkages and interactions between components.
• Demonstrate ability to provide an inclusive workplace that fosters the development of others.
• Expertise in building supply chain networks for new energy technologies (solar, battery).

Pay Range

USD $179,380.00 - USD $220,000.00 /Yr.
